PROFILE: Jukka is a leading software generalist and an experienced agile coach at Reaktor Innovations. He coaches and mentors people in technical skills, agile practices and teamwork. He is a passionate promoter of Lean Thinking, Scrum and Self-Organized Teams.

For the past twelve years Jukka has been involved in many software projects in diverse environments including start-ups as well as large global companies. Jukka works every day with the people in real projects, collaborating on real problem solving and coaching.

PROFILE: Emerson is an Agile Coach working in Japan.

His "Agile voyage" started in 2000 when working as a software developer in a small Japanese hardware manufacturer which had product development approach just as described in the "New New Product Development Game". After several years of continuing experience with atomic agile practices, his experiences came together in 2003 when he joined one of the initial teams to implement scrum at Amazon.com.

After working to scale teams and train new members on Scrum practices and concepts ( as well as writing a lot of code ), Emerson transferred to Amazon.co.jp and continued to assist old and new teams in their Scrum implementations while also driving automated UAT efforts to increase code quality ( while still writing a lot of code ). In 2007, Emerson began a new venture with a number of skilled individuals. He used this company as a testbed for Agile practices and began coaching external teams as well. In 2009, Emerson decided to focus his efforts on coaching teams and established Odd-e Japan with the support and cooperation of Bas Vodde. Currently, Emerson works at Odd-e Japan as an Agile Coach assisting teams and organizations in their Agile implementations.

While the core of Emerson's experience is web application development in Agile environments, his recent work in game development has proved to him that Agile concepts and practices are NOT "just for web developers".
